New Venue!

SUMMER CHOIR CAMP AT BUSSES FARM (YOG YURT) – 2010
Friday 18th June from midday – Sunday evening 20th June 2010

This summer we would like to create an opportunity to camp and sing for a weekend in the beautiful Ashdown forest.
There are spaces for 40 singers and limited spaces for extra family members/partners.

WORKSHOP

  • Vocal Explosion’s own Juliet Russell world music workshop
  • Original blues gospel workshop
  • Free Yoga sessions, for voice, with Martia Katz to start the day (bring mats)

On Friday evening we will sing around the campfire with musical accompaniment. On Saturday evening there will be a ceildh with an acoustic live band and dancing by the campfire. And massage sessions can be booked throughout the weekend.

COST:
Singers £65 all inclusive / concession for people on benefit £50
Saturday Day Pass may be available subject to space
Non-singers £40 (if there are spaces available at the workshops then £9 extra per workshop)
Kids £15 (camping only)

Payment (cash only) by May 11th; your place will only be guaranteed when you have paid in full.

If possible, singers should pay for choir camp ASAP at their choir sessions; Thursday evenings in Hastings or Tuesdays in Brighton

PLEASE NOTE cost for singers includes:

·    Camping Friday and Saturday nights
·    All singing workshops
·    Band on Saturday evening
·    Wood for bonfires

PLEASE NOTE the following are NOT included
·    Food not supplied, everyone needs to bring and prepare their own food for the weekend – THERE IS NO FOOD SHOP ON SITE
·    Transport – this is for individuals to arrange
·    Insurance –this is an informal camp therefore we feel obliged to tell you that there is no insurance or public liability
