SUMMER CHOIR CAMP AT BUSSES FARM (YOG YURT) – 2011

Friday 17th June from midday – Sunday evening 19th June 2011

Busses Farm is located south of East Grinstead in the beautiful Sussex countryside and is an organic farm with some great facilities.  As last year we have exclusive use of the farm for the weekend

We will be camping in the old orchard which is a lovely private space. This year we are fortunate to have a Yurt at the far end of the orchard. This sleeps 8 and has a wood burning stove and kitchen area. It will be available on a first come first served basis to hire for £20 per person per night which is on top of the usual choir camp fees.As you can see Mattresses & bedding come with it ( Contact Judy for more info).

Our main workshop leader this year is Lucky Moyo a former member of Black Umfolosi who has performed alongside artists such as Jimmy Cliffe and Peter Gabriel. He will be leading 2 workshops – on Saturday morning and afternoon.
Lucky has taught community choirs all around the world and will be teaching us traditional and contemporary Zulu songs.

As well as the usual Ceildh by Candlelight (Sat), mass sing with professional accompaniment around the campfire (Fri) and Sunday workshop with Juliet, we will offer free Saturday and Sunday Yoga for voice sessions and hope to get an *onsite masseur (* for the usual extra cost)

*A member is anyone who has done a singing term with Juliet during 2011
