If you want a joyously uplifting experience, there’s little to match a performance by Juliet Russell and the Vocal Explosion choir. Their music is by turns haunting, infectious, blissful. Juliet and the choir combine upbeat rhythms with emotive, multiple harmonies to produce powerful music that evokes songs from Eastern Europe, South Africa to Georgian chant, Celtic music and beatbox. They’ve sung to and inspired thousands-strong crowds and this time will be accompanied by violin, accordion and percussion.
